This page explains the limits swimmers must achieve to enter certain competitions.

A few important points when reading the tables:

Provincial Championships

Additional entry conditions apply to swimmers aged 11 to 14 for the Provincial Championships. See the Zwemfed website: PK Info 2025.

The tables show these conditions as follows:

Colour Description
Provincial condition not met: one of the two listed events must still be swum.
Provincial condition not met: the listed event must still be swum.
Provincial condition not met: at least three 200 m events in different strokes are required.

Belgian Youth Championships

For swimmers aged 11 and 12, the 200 m individual medley and 400 m freestyle limits may be achieved in a 25 m or 50 m pool.

The 200 m individual medley limit grants entry to the 100 m freestyle, butterfly, breaststroke and backstroke. The 400 m freestyle limit grants entry to the 100 m freestyle.

Other competitions

For most competitions, limits must be achieved within a set period shown under Competition dates/info.
